September 1st: Harry Potter and Ron Weasley meet on the train. They become good friends and Draco Malfoy starts to hate Harry because he chose a Weasley over a Malfoy to become friends with. Harry and Ron also meet Hermione Granger who asks them to help her look for Neville Longbottom's toad. Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Vincent Crabbe, Blaise Zabini, and Gregory Goyle are sorted into Slytherin while Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom,Dean Thomas, Seamus Finnigan, Parvati Patil, and Lavendar Brown are sorted into Gryffindor last of all Hannah Albott in Hufflepuff also Padma Patil in Ravenclaw. They all eat the feast before going to their dorms. Angelina Johnson, Alicia Spinnet, Lee Jordan, Fred and George Weasley are in their third year. Oliver Wood, Penelope Clearwater, and Percy Weasley are in their fifth year. Cho Chang is in her 2nd year and Cedric Diggory his 4th.
