Jared was walking by the lake. He had just finished up another one of Cedric’s rough Quidditch practises, and needed some time on his own. Jacksons words were replaying in his head – all about how awesome Wood was, and how much himself sucked. Well, Jackson never said he sucked, he just pointed out how much better everyone else was. There were little things like that – that made him hate his father. Yet, he loved him too. Jackson was awesome – at times.
Thinking about Jackson made him think about Cillian, and his whole deal with Bella. It was about time he sent her something else. But what?
Jared frowned, and looked around. There were always Forgetmenots, but they just wouldn’t cut it this time.
He walked up to Hagrid’s hut – all kind of weird things grew there. He looked at the different flowers, there were a lot of pretty ones. One caught his attention and his mother’s voice echoed in his head.
Jackson was so cute, he read up on flowers – and these, Gardenias, mean ‘I love you in secret’… He had a bunch of them sent to my dorm… The image of his mother smiling and smelling those flowers were a memory he kept close to his heart. He picked up a flower, it did remind him of his mother – but why not share the memory?
Jared thought about it for a second. He had loved Bella secretly for four years… So that would be the amount of flowers he’d pick.
Once again, he headed up to the owlery – and had Emmett deliver the flowers. Later on, he would have to write Cillian and thank him, oh, and get some new pointers.
